Tom Brady Rule-Brady Injury

Let's get this straight. I'm not here to bash Tom Brady. Even though he is the primary reason for this rule, he's not the blame for it.

What's happening to the game of football. Football is a physical sport. People get hurt, that's the nature of the game. I'm sorry. Every year it seems more and more rules are being added that tighten the game up. By tightening, I mean, restricting players from performing natural actions. Let's take the helmet to helmet rule for example. Seems now a days if you just brush or blow on a players helmet, there's a penalty or some large fine.

Legal hits, such as the one Hines Ward used during a intercepted ball versus the Bengals. Did Ward really need to block him that hard? Yes or no, depends on which way you see it. I mean wide receivers get drilled all the time when crossing over the middle.

Let's not get started with fucking roughing the kicker penalties. That's a total fucking joke in itself. The guys out there for a total of 2 minutes the whole fucking game, wouldn't you want to hit the bastard?

I hope people agree with what I'm saying because if you aren't, soon this game will become just like basketball. Penalties every 2 fucking seconds and just PLAIN OLD BORING.

The Brady rule states "Restricts a defender on the ground who hasn't been blocked or fouled directly into the quarterback from lunging or diving at the quarterback's lower legs." So if a defensive player falls in anyway or ends up on the ground, he can no longer try to tackle the quarterback unless he gets up. Which is bullshit!
