Geek Terminology Recognized

May 19th, 2009 Posted in Current News, Games, Online Things, Video Games

Next month, the Global Language Monitor, which is an academic group who monitor new words, is thinking about adding a few more words to our lovely language. One possible candidate is the word 'noob'.

What is a noob you ask? It's basically a word created by gamers to call a relatively new player. It's often a derogatory term, usually holding the same weight as calling racial epithets in the gaming world. I was called one repeatedly years ago as I got my ass handed to me while playing HALO 2. Now those assholes can suck it! I be a noob no more! I completely powned you shits! No more no-scopping for me! HAHAHAHAHAHHA!

Unless you're an 8-year old Asian kid, who constantly whoops my ass in everything I play. To them, I yield.
