Stay tuned to Word-Vomit for a full review - photos included.

Until then, we'd like to leave you with what was an incredible highlight for us - Allison, the gallery co-founder, was kind enough to give us a peek at this brilliant piece by Gaia before it went out the door to a collector. This guy's work is just amazing.

It hasn't been confirmed quite yet, but the general consensus is that this right here is a brand new Banksy. Similar versions of this piece have been seen in past shows of his (including the the recent Banksy Vs. Bristol museum exhibition), so it's looking very likely that this is indeed a Banksy work.

How I wish he'd come back to New York and throw something up on a wall. Or that they'd bring the Bristol show here. Either way, I'd be thrilled - his Village Pet Store & Charcoal Grill was bizarre and brilliant at the same time.

For those of us not lucky enough to travel to the Bristol show, UK Street Art has posted a microsite dedicated to the exhibit, complete with tons of photos and video of the various works on display - all of them totally awesome. Visit - Visit - Visit!!! (The museum version of Zorro is #70 in their image collection, if you're interested.)

I'm all for change. Change is good. President Obama has been good so far -- in the real world, but his entry into the comic book world has to stop. Ever since he was elected, he has graced the pages of Spider-Man and a few others in subtle cameo appearances. It would seem that Obama is way cooler than Bush, which is fine, but should he be in comic books? -- NO effing way! Comic books has always been a place to explore political subtext, while heroes wear spandex and beat the shit out of villains, which is always cool, but sometimes it can be slightly overt. However, this is some blatant shit! President Obama is going to be featured in a new comic book, albeit a whack one, called Youngblood. It's a horrible comic book title that the 90's tried to forget and yet it resurfaced. In it, Obama seems to be able to handle himself after a few secret service men are shot in the head and he's left to defend himself. Didn't know he could. I have no clue who's idea this was, but it's not something that's going to sell books! DORKS!!! And besides, it's frikkin' Youngblood! Rob Liefield's baby. You remember him? He did that Levi's 501 commerical years ago with Spike Lee, while he was drawing a wholey-awesomer book called X-Force? Hmmm...maybe not. That's just me then. Carry on. Click the pic below to see Obama defend the Whitehouse and all the crappy glory that is Rob Liefeld's Youngblood.
